Hi lovely London Mums October has been a great month with the official launch of our website and an exclusive LBC Radio interview (soon to be posted onto this website under the NEWS section). Also, I have received an overwhelming response to the Xmas party: we have now 46 mums registered and the number is growing! We are planning a spring party as well with a multicultural theme / entertainment. Watch this space!!! If you don't know where to go with your child/children during the winter months, Eddie Catz still offers us 2 mums for the price of one at least until the end of December. If you are keen on this, please let me know and we might get an extension to our discount.

Choosing the right school for our children is a very diffult task in London. I have come across the Independent Schools Show, which is taking place in Battersea Park on the 2nd and 3rd of November. The show is designed so that parents can come and investigate potential schools for their children, from the ages of 2-18, without having to trek around London or the surrounding area. London Mums Xmas party and First Mumpreneurs' meeting - UPDATE 3rd December 2007

46 mums and children have already registered for the Xmas party! As the event will be held at Eddie Catz we still have some spaces available for latecomers. It costs only 10 pounds per mum/baby or toddler and includes Xmas refreshments, entertainment by the Fairy Sunshine and a little suprise from Santa.....

A NEW CENTRE TO VISIT THE SORREL FOUNDATION YOUNG DESIGN CENTRE

It is the first of its kind in the UK, and opens with an exhibition called "What's Next For Schools" Open 7 days a week (10am-6pm), the exhibition looks at future schools as well as historic school design exhibition. FREE.

How many times have you heard the same nursery rhymes in a day? 20, 30, 40? Well, as nice as they are, it can get quite boring after a while. I have found a great CD that is actually great for parents as much as for children. It has been released by Amandas Action Kids - the entertainment we had at our party and it's fantastic!!! The CD BIG SONGS FOR LITTLE ONES includes such a funky re-arrangement of the nursery rhymes that you would barely recognise them .... Diego and I spend hours dancing to the funky tunes. I must say that the more we listen to it the more we like it. It costs only 9.99 pounds and I think it would make a great Xmas present. Check it out before buying it on www.myspace.com.
